I had to search the internet to figure it out and then it is not immediate. It takes 14 days for facebook to delete your account. This underscores my whole logic in getting off facebook. They want you to always be ON facebook or "CONNECTED" to the world.
As Tim Leary said, "Turn on. Tune in. Drop out." I would modify this idea a bit to the following:
"Turn on and tune in by turning off. Drop in to real life."
At any rate, I still have e-mail and this blog. I still have text messaging and a cell phone. I still watch t.v. I am trying to use the mail more. I do use zippers because button flies suck.
